The Reason Why Book Review

Book Review of The Reason Why by Mark Mittelberg
"Faith makes sense."

This little book packs a powerful punch.  Mark Mittelburg "has updated and expanded" Robert A. Laidlaw's original book of the same title.  This version of the classic best seller uses current jargon and has a more modern feel.  Some of the questions this book asks are: Is there a God? Can the Bible be trusted? Are we accountable to God? This pocket book lays out factual information in the proof that there is a positive answer to these questions and many more.  The book is backed up by a thorough list of references and places to find additional evidence and information.  It also contains a Salvation Prayer, and what to do after you've prayed it.  Mittelburg lays out the foundation of Christian beliefs in such a way that is easy to understand, grasp and follow.
I greatly recommend this book.  It's a must have for someone that you are witnessing to, or anyone with questions about "what's this life for after all".  I found the book to be very reaffirming of my own faith and beliefs.  Above all, I would quickly add this book to my list of reading for high school students.  Do they believe in Christ because you do, but don't know why or what for?  This is a perfect book to tighten up their grasp on apologetics and strengthen their ability to defend their faith.  This easy read should hands down and absolutely be on every Christians shelf.  Make, that two copies.  One for you and one for someone that's in serious need for it.  You won't be sorry.

(I received this book free from Tyndale House Publishing as part of their blogging program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
